I’ve teamed up with Side Three Media (a Canadian production company) to produce the official, feature-length, documentary film about Nash – And You Thought You Were Normal. It will feature a lot of Nash’s own footage and memorabilia, as well as interviews with dozens of his family, friends and colleagues. Side Three have interviewed everyone from Nash’s brother to his FM bandmates, to Gary Numan. It’s going to be an incredible film!
Nash the Slash is now on Bandcamp! Download an exclusive, remastered digital single reissue of Nash’s first 7″ (originally released 1980) – Dead Man’s Curve!! Plus stream select tracks from the other re-releases. Order the entire set of re-releases on Bandcamp and save 20%.
Well it’s official – We are very proud to announce that Nash the Slash will officially be in the Canadian Music Hall of Fame as part of the brand new National Music Centre in Calgary opening in 2016! His iconic costumes (tuxedo and top hat) as well as his famous Stephen Pollard custom skull mandolin will be on display. As well, some of his vintage keyboards, custom effects and violins will be added to the NMC’s heritage instrument archive.
Juno-nominated Canadian cult-hero Nash the Slash’s early catalogue is set to be reissued through Canadian label Artoffact Records.
Artoffact will reissue CD and vinyl remasters of Nash’s first record, Dreams & Nightmares, as well as his most popular full-length Children of The Night, the super-rare live album Hammersmith Holocaust, and the EP Bedside Companion. Long-time Nash admirer Gary Numan has penned the liner notes for Hammersmith Holocaust.
